✨ Today we begin our nine-day journey of prayer.

As the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel draws near on 16 July, we invite you to join the Carmelites of Australia & Timor-Leste in praying the Novena to Our Lady of Mount Carmel.

Each day offers an opportunity to pause, pray, and entrust our hearts, our families, our communities, and our world to Mary's loving care. Together we ask for her intercession for peace where there is conflict, hope where there is despair, healing where there is suffering, and faith wherever it is needed most.

For more than eight centuries, Christians have looked to Our Lady of Mount Carmel as a mother, companion, and guide in the spiritual life. Through her example of prayerful listening and faithful trust, she continually leads us to her Son, Jesus Christ.

• Light a candle if you are able.
• Sit quietly with the Lord.
• Entrust someone in need to Mary's intercession.
