Does height really matter in tennis? ๐พ
From Jimmy Connors (5โ10โ / 178 cm) to Jannik Sinner (6โ3โ / 191 cm), the greatest champions in history have succeeded at very different heights.
What they all had in common wasnโt sizeโit was extraordinary movement, technique, resilience, and an unwavering competitive mindset.
Thereโs no โperfectโ height to become a champion. Every body type brings unique strengths:
* ๐ Taller players often generate bigger serves and enjoy greater reach.
* โก Shorter players are often quicker, more agile, and stay lower through the court.
At the highest level, talent, training, and mental toughness consistently matter more than a few inches.
Question for you:
๐ If you could choose the โidealโ height for a future Grand Slam champion, what would it be?
* ๐ข Under 5โ11โ (180 cm)
* ๐ต 6โ0โโ6โ2โ (183โ188 cm)
* ๐ด 6โ3โ+ (191+ cm)
Or do you believe height doesnโt matter nearly as much as people think? ๐พ๐
