We’re honored to share that Community Greening was recently named a runner-up for the The Garden Club of America’s Founders Fund!
We’re also proud to have received the 2026 'Zone Civic Improvement Commendation', another meaningful recognition of the impact that trees, volunteers, and community partnerships can have across South Florida!
A huge thank you to the Grass River Garden Club for nominating us and for being such incredible supporters of our mission over the years. From regularly volunteering in the CG Tree Nursery to helping fund some of our very first planting projects, their partnership and dedication mean so much to our team.
We’re grateful for these recognitions and excited to continue growing a greener, cooler, and more resilient South Florida!
Barwick Park is a lot cooler these days thanks to walking paths shaded by the mini-forest of slash pines we planted less than a decade ago as part of our Tree Planting Campaign in partnership with the City of Delray Beach!
What was once a sun-scorched park is now a cooler and more usable greenspace despite the hot Florida sun - proving once again that trees are critical green infrastructure for our neighborhoods!
