Councilman Andy Thomson Hosts A Crowd during his Listening Tour at The Irishman
Boca Raton, FL — August 25, 2025 — Councilman Andy Thomson welcomed a crowd at The Irishman for the second stop of his Summer Listening Sessions. The evening centered on the evolving Government Campus Redevelopment Project, drawing engaged residents eager to discuss its implications.
Key topics raised included:
• Frequent changes to the project’s plans
• The city’s potential upfront investment and reimbursement through a public-private partnership
• The introduction of residential components
• The monetization of public park spaces
• Opportunities for resident voting on the project
• Independent verification of financial projections
A striking question from the audience was, “If the city is funding this project, why is a private partner like Terra & Frisbie Group involved or needed?”
Councilman Thomson addressed these concerns directly, emphasizing the importance of transparency and community involvement. His responses were met with positive feedback and support from attendees.
Upcoming Listening Session:
The next session will be held at Farmer’s Table Event Center on September 2, 2025, offering another opportunity for residents to engage in open dialogue with Councilman Andy Thomson.
Stay engaged so you can make an informed and educated decision in March!

Last night, I had the pleasure of attending a dynamic meet & greet with Governor Candidate David Jolly, organized by Dana Aberman and Carole Berger of the S.E.E. Group. Over 250 people showed up as part of his campaign trail stop from Pinellas County.
The evening opened with Dana Aberman sharing the mission and vision of S.E.E., setting the tone for meaningful engagement. David Jolly then took the mic and spoke powerfully about who he is as a candidate, his vision for Florida, and how we can all play a role in this critical race.
He left us with three key asks:
1️⃣ Keep the campaign focused on the Governor’s race, not on Donald Trump.
2️⃣ Believe in our ability to build a winning coalition.
3️⃣ Be part of the coalition that is working to change the world.
David also engaged in thoughtful guided questions with Dana Aberman and opened the floor for audience Q&A, creating a real space for dialogue.
🙏 A huge thank you to the S.E.E. Group, and especially Dana Aberman and Carole Berger, for coordinating such an impactful event.
As election season approaches, it’s not about telling anyone who to vote for—it’s about staying engaged, informed, and connected so that when the time comes, we can all cast our educated votes.
