COVID-19 is a complex illness that might require ongoing clinical care after being hospitalized. A new investigation of more than 100,000 patients discharged after being hospitalized for COVID-19 finds that 9% of these patients were readmitted to the same hospital within 2 months of being discharged. Halloween will be different this year, but it can still be special. Get creative to celebrate in fun ways that help protect your community from COVID-19.
• Organize a scavenger hunt for Halloween-themed things at home.
• Carve and decorate pumpkins with people you live with. If you’d like to carve with neighbors and friends, do so outside and at least 6 feet apart.
• Show your best Halloween costume to your friends and family via video calls and photos.
