Washington Gov. Jay Inslee and state Democrats are holding talks about delaying the WA Cares long-term care payroll tax, originally set to begin in January 2022, until January 2023, citing the need for some changes to the program before the new tax takes effect.

New California Law Eases Aid-in-Dying Process Nearly 2,000 terminally ill Californians have used a 2015 law to end their lives with a doctor’s assistance. A revision of the law will make it easier to do so.
