🔧 Plumbing Fix Story: Slow Drain could have Turned Into a Structural Job

We got called for a slow-draining kitchen sink that kept backing up. What seemed like a simple clog was much more once we investigated.
The 2-inch PVC drain line had no proper fall it was basically level with low spots (bellies) sagging in the pipe. Water trickled through slowly while solids and grease stayed behind, causing constant backups.
Crawling under the house, we found the line hanging too low. We raised the drain 8–10 inches in places and secured it with proper hangers to restore the correct slope for good flow.
We’re also installing cast piers under each beam to support the structure before finishing the patching and repairs. This ensures everything stays solid long-term.
