More than 30 protesters staged a sit-in at Idaho's governor's office after Gov. Little signed what critics are calling the nation's strictest bathroom ban law: https://www.ktvb.com/article/news/local/capitol-watch/protesters-stage-sit-in-at-idaho-capitol/277-831d2f1a-9053-4167-a654-50d4335edff7?utm_medium=social&utm_source=facebook_KTVB

Public schools in Idaho are now required to start each day with a minimum of 60-second moment of silence after Governor Brad Little signed House Bill 623 into law.

This is welcome news to many hungover teachers across the state, who plan to use the precious moment to rest their heads on their desk to keep the room from spinning. Others plan to silently expel the remains of their hastily-microwaved breakfast sandwiches discreetly into the wastebin.

“A minute goes by way too fast. We're gonna maybe do an hour of silence today,” gagged sixth grade teacher Sarah Talley before adding, “Dear God, I'll never drink on a school night again if I can just make it through today without dying.”

Some groups criticize the new law as a backdoor method for requiring prayer in schools, although the majority of teachers who gave themselves one more glass of wine last night as a little treat are willing to pray to whoever just to get through the day.
