Great info on the recent market volatility! As I write this, the Dow is having its longest weekly losing streak since 1924 AND the NASDAQ is down over 30% from its recent high. Ouch! These are risky times for everyone...especially if you are taking a "DIY" approach. Call for a 2nd opinion!

Our weekly "Stifel Bits" always provides an interesting perspective. It's been a crazy year so far for stocks and bonds...but there is a silver lining. Many people still have money sitting in a checking/savings account that is barely earning any interest. The increase in interest rates now is making Treasuries yields more attractive. You can now earn approximately 1.4% on a 6-month Treasury and 2.65% on a 2-year Treasury. Risk-free! It's time to get that money out of your savings account and earn some interest.
