🐾🌻What an incredible team we have at Idaho Golden Retriever Rescue!
🌻13.4 year old Sansa had her first liver tumor consult with our board member and vet partner Animal Wellness Veterinary Clinic - Anja Hunter, DVM. Thank you Dr. Hunter for your holistic approach and genuine love of animals.
🐾🌻Kyrie Ryan took Ms. Sansa into her home at a moments notice last week after her owner had tragically passed away. Kyrie is giving her a loving and safe landing pad. Kyrie officially adopted Sansa today!
🌻🐾 None of this would be possible without a huge collaborative effort of many people. In addition, a generous medical fund was set up immediately by our board member, Bronwyn Patterson Nickel for Sansa’s ongoing care.
🐾🌻We look forward to continuing to care for and support Kyrie and Sansa. Much gratitude to all.

Maverick is still looking for his perfect home!

He needs an active person with experience with higher energy working dogs to be a successful match. He is such a happy-go-lucky guy who is going to make an awesome addition to someone's life.

6/14 Update-Beau is adopted!

💙🐾 Introducing Beau, an 8-month-old red Golden Retriever weighing 65 pounds. His vaccines will be updated and he will be neutered. He’s located in Hayden, Idaho. At this time, we are only accepting applications from Northern Idaho/Eastern Washington or Montana for Beau. You must be willing to drive to meet him.
🐾💙This big boy is strong and active. Beau is being surrendered because his retired owners lack time and patience for his necessary training.
🐾💙Beau was obtained from a family friend at eight weeks old. He is house and crate trained.
🐾💙Beau has a super friendly temperament and no history of bites or aggression. Aside from typical puppy behaviors like digging and chewing, no behavioral concerns exist. Unknown behavior around cats.
💙🐾Beau has been raised with a German Shepherd and they are good friends. He has not been raised with children, so will need slow introductions.
🐾💙Please have patience with us as we want to find a fantastic forever home for Beau.

🐾🌸It is rare in the rescue world to have a seamless adoption. However, that is exactly what happened this week with Eli, Rachel Borsani, Derek Watkins and their Golden girl Spice. They had submitted an application with us in May and held out for a rescue that was the best fit for their active lifestyle.
🌻🐾Thank you for giving Eli a chance to be his own dog and have a best friend with Spice. You are already the best dog parents!
