"I surrendered my birth son to the couple I chose - they were and still are wonderful open-minded people and had no issues about me having an open relationship with my birth son. He is in his 30’s now and I have had open contact with him and have visited him and his adoptive family all of his life. We get along great and they did an excellent job raising him and he is living a good life. I got to be a part of his life and his adoptive parents turned out to be excellent parents. I have always felt peace of mind that my birth son was not abandoned and has been well cared for his whole childhood. He knows who I am (and who his birth father is) and wasn’t ever confused about that." –Birth Mom ❤️

Abigail is an adoptee; she shares her adoption reunification journey below,

"In the end I got my questions answered, and maybe we all have a little bit of growing up to do before trying to talk to each other again. Maybe one day God will help my birth family and I cross paths again."
