"No Saint without a past...no sinner without a future."

Hello Future Saint. I was just inspired by watching the Joan of Arc episode of "The Saints" by Martin Scorsese. Even Saint Joan of Arc slipped and fell into sin by denying the commands God gave her in fear of suffering the pains of death. She overcame her fears and stood back up to accept God's will for her life.

What is God whispering so softly to each one of us? Are we listening? I believe the message is the same for us all. I believe God is saying, "I want you to be a great Saint like Joan of Arc."

What is your saintly mission, Future Saint? Have you found it yet? Joan of Arc had the mission to lead an Army and defeat the invading British so that the rightful King of France could be crowned 👑. We all have a mission from God. Search for it. Find it...and you will have found peace. Amen. 🙏

Hello Future Saint! Our birthdays are a time for us to reflect on where we have been, and where we want to go. Saint Henry de Osso y Cervello said, "Life is short and riches serve no purpose unless we use them well." Let us think about what truly brings us happiness. Let's remember the times when we are the most happy. Is it the time when our boss gave us a big bonus check? Are we the happiest when we receive a huge inheritance check in the mail? Is it when the state sends us a tax refund check? For myself, these moments have not brought all that much joy into my life.
Let us now do some serious soul searching and really contemplate on what truly brings us happiness. Is it not the blessings from Our Father in Heaven that bring us true joy and happiness in this world. When we can see the thousands of little miracles in our lives each and every day that we live. This is God's love for us being revealed right before our very eyes. Maybe it's the huge white snowflakes ❄️ lightly floating in the starlight night's sky. Or the morning sparrows chirping their best tune. Maybe it's the joy you received in your heart ❤️ when you make an anonymous donation to the poor, and no one but your Father in Heaven knows of this generous donation you just made. You received no recognition from the community nor was your name put on a board for worldly praise and honor. Instead, you gave to honor the desire of your Father in Heaven. This is what brought you great joy. Doing your Father's will brings the joy and happiness we are all searching for. This is what showers us with blessings. It brings us peace✌️. No need to search any longer. We know the answer. Being a saint is our mission. Doing God's will is our plan. Following Jesus and the saints is our path. Now is the time. There is no time for delay. Let's be happy now! Amen.

Peace be with you Future Saint. I was inspired by the Gospel reading in Mass this morning. One was given five talents, another two talents, and a third servant was given just one. The third servant buried his one talent and after some time, was only able to give his master only one talent back. The other two servants doubled what was given initially to them and repaid to their master 10 and 4 talents each. Their master said to these two, "Well done faithful servants."
Future Saint, we have all been given gifts from our Lord. Life, in itself, is a great gift because we are children of an awesome God. Let us not squander our gifts that have been given us, no matter if they are many or few.
Let us wake up each and every day and say to ourselves, "What can I do today to become a saint." This is our calling in life; this is our purpose. Let us use our gifts to serve our Lord so that one day we will here these words from Our Lord, "You are now a saint. I have prepared a place for you in my Kingdom. Well done my good and faithful servant." Amen.

Hello Future Saint. What are your plans for the future? You hear this question asked a lot...and I think it is definitely something we should know and be able to quickly answer. What are your future plans? A very important question I think. Amen...let's make our answer be, "To be a saint."

James 4:13-16 RSV

Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a town and spend a year there and trade and get gain”; whereas you do not know about tomorrow. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes. Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we shall live and we shall do this or that.” As it is, you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is evil.

Hello "Future Saint." Vacations are a lot of fun but it takes a lot of money to travel. If you book a flight to Hawaii, it is going to take some cash. If you want to go on a cruise in the Caribbean, it will cost you some dollars. The good news is this, you don't need a boat load of cash to get to Heaven. In fact, it is the exact opposite. Being rich can be like a boat anchor and could keep us from reaching our final destination. It is not that money is evil, it is "the love of money" that is evil. Why would that be evil you might ask. If we are focused constantly on becoming rich, how much time is left over for us to focus on what truly matters, Jesus Christ. Now after reading this post, you don't need to go out and give all your money away, especially if you are supporting a large family. But let's not but all our energy into making money so we can go on an extravagant vacation. Let's instead focus on what Jesus wants us to do; and that is, love thy neighbor and love Him above all other things. Believe you me, the paradise awaiting us in Heaven is way better than any old boat cruise we could take now. If we have a little extra cash on hand, lets give a little to our neighbors in need, because this is the will of Our Father in Heaven. Amen!

Matthew 19:24 (RSV)
"Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.”
