Allan Schroeder - Bike Racer

Working on putting together the racing calendar for 2026 and it's shaping up to be another year of racing all sorts of bikes all across the NW and beyond. Lemme know if there are any races out there you thing are must hits!

Finally getting around to looking back at the 2025 stats... 1,000,000ft climbed is the goal for '26!

2025 was probably the least amount of bike racing I've done in a year since I lined up for my first race back in 2017 (yikes 😬). I had a bit of guilt surrounding bike racing last year, like I was wasting my time on something that, when you get down to it, is just a hobby. That I aught to be spending more time "focusing on my career".

But after some reflection...naaaah f**k that noise mate, I love this s**t and I'm gonna ride and race these bikes as long and as hard as my body will allow. The truth of the matter is that there are genuinely few things in life that give me the same sense of drive, enjoyment, and satisfaction. Plus the racing that I did do was spent in beautiful places racing against... Well idk if I'd call them beautiful friends but they're absolutely lovely people. And in a world that becomes more unrecognizable and future more uncertain every day?... Well I think that's an activity worth holding onto.
