The Math Magician visits many schools each year to share the wonder of math with motivating assemblies, workshops and teacher training. Mr. X has traveled from Washington to Boston to Los Angeles to Taiwan to Idaho motivating teachers and students to excel in math. The Math Magician has recently been invited to present to 90 schools in Thailand for the month of September and many schools in South Africa and Botswana.

Our Story
Bob Bishop is known internationally as the Math Magician by showing how to ignite interest and wonder for math with surprising and amusing presentations. As a certified Brain-based trainer, he knows how to teach math and problem solving in a way that clicks and sticks in the brains of students.
As a seasoned and experienced classroom teacher, Bob Bishop has taught 2nd grade through High School. He has taught Gifted and Talented students in Idaho for over 18 years. He was also math department head for a school in Eagle, Idaho. Bob's students have won hundreds of awards for Math Olympiads, chess, inventions and writing.
He has brought his Math Magic and creativity presentations to many schools in Idaho, Oregon, Washington, Montana, California, New Jersey, Detroit, Taiwan. He recently presented to 5000 students in Thailand. Last year he presented for 10,000 students in Botswana and South Africa. Bob has been in the Idaho Statesmen several times as the Math Magician. He recently performed at the prestigious Magic Castle in Hollywood. The Life section says, "His business Odyssey Learning Adventures, focuses on showing kids the fun angles of math and other subjects. He brings his ideas for creativity to schools and corporations where he challenges even adults to try new things."
He was awarded the GEM (Gifted Education Milestone) award in 2008 for his contribution to Gifted Education He has been a keynote speaker at the State Conference for Exceptional Children in Sun Valley, Idaho and a popular presenter at Edufest for the past 20 years. This year, sharing the conference with Temple Grandin, he shared his Magic to Motivating Minds. His upcoming book series, Neuro-magical Motivation focuses on how to return the wonder back to learning.
He is known specifically for bringing his math magic programs to hundreds of schools and training teachers how to improve math skills in their students. His humor, sleight of hand, showmanship and creativity make Mr. X a popular educator, speaker, stage entertainer, close-up magician and "Amusionist." Bob has a passion to bring wonder, to ignite creativity, and to inspire students and teachers to make a difference.
Appearing as Mister X (The Illusionist), The Math Magician, Einstein, or even the Zany Dr. Lamebrain, he teaches teachers with keynotes and workshops and gives students long remembered workshops and assemblies.
