Level 1 of the Lullaby Swim School is Comfort. Before a child can learn to swim, they need to feel safe — in the water, with the instructor and in the environment itself.

That means learning to enter the pool without fear, tolerating hands-on support and getting used to the sights, sounds and sensations of something new.

There’s no rushing through it. A child moves on when the goals are met — not before.
