We have several 4-day and 1-day camps for kids! Together, we’ll foster connections, build camaraderie, and explore the importance of kindness toward both humans and animals. Students will discover the importance of enriching activities for animals, learning practical strategies to reduce stress and prevent boredom in pets, creating happier and healthier lives for our furry friends.

Friendly Reminder... The Idaho Humane Society will be closed Saturday in observance of Independence Day. If you have an animal emergency, please call police dispatch at (208) 377-6790 and they will contact Humane Officers.

We had 166 animals join their forever homes last week: 109 cats (71 kittens), 46 dogs, 6 guinea pigs, 3 rabbits, 1 turtle and 1 chicken.

Jubilee (in the middle) came to us as a stray suffering from a condition called “cherry eye.” Cherry eye happens when a tear gland in the corner of the eye slips out of place, creating a red or pink swelling. While it can look concerning, it isn't usually painful, though it can be irritating. We performed surgery to return the gland to its normal position, helping keep Jubilee's eye healthy and comfortable. After she felt better, she joined the adoption floor. Jubilee was a very shy and sensitive dog who was quite nervous around unfamiliar people. Once Jubilee warmed up though, her affectionate side began to shine. She loved cuddling with her trusted people! She was searching for a family that would be patient and would give her the time and space she needed to feel safe and comfortable. And last week, her dreams came true!
