For any of you do it yourselfers, this is a good tip! Use a washer to make a line following the contours of a wall. Since the washer is round,it will follow any inperfections of the wall !

This is a section of a handrail going up a curved staircase, leading to the front porch of a house. The top and bottom rails, along with the pickets were in pretty good shape. It just needed some sanding on the rusty spots and a new paint job to make it look like new.
