Ownership and guilt are not the same.

Showing ownership means accepting where we stand and how we got to that point, and we're going to do something to change it.

Showing guilt means lamenting where we stand and how we got to that point in our life and beating ourselves up for it instead of doing something to change it for the better - and for forever.

One of those emotions drives action. The other keeps us stuck.

Everyone in the Fernandes Fit family has experienced meaningful transformation because they began their health and wellness journey from a place of honesty - not self-punishment.

They accepted what was happening, took responsibility for their role in it, and took that first step to do something to change it.

Then they followed through every day after that with effort, consistency and intentionality.
Consider that first step the door we all walk through to get to the other side, where the version of ourselves we want to be resides.
