These outstanding educators represent the very best of our district. They inspire students, support their colleagues, and make a lasting impact in classrooms across Brunswick County.

We also want to give a special shout-out to Liz Hall, our Elementary School Teacher of the Year, and Angela Mabry, our High School Teacher of the Year.

And we are proud to congratulate Nathaniel Anderson of Leland Middle School, our 2026-2027 Brunswick County Schools District Teacher of the Year!

As part of this honor, Nathaniel received an incredible opportunity thanks to our longtime community partner, Capital Chevrolet of Shallotte. Each year, Capital Chevrolet allows our district Teacher of the Year to select a vehicle from their lot to drive for the year, excluding Corvettes.

We are deeply grateful to Wayne Barbour and his family for their continued generosity, kindness, and support of Brunswick County Schools. Their commitment to celebrating educators in such a meaningful way is something we do not take for granted.
