What happens when you mix music, sweet treats, families and friends, and a dance floor full of joy? You get one unforgettable night at the Brunswick Interagency Program’s 2026 Sweetheart Ball. 💕

On Friday, February 13, our BIP students gathered for this year’s celebration, “Chocolates for My Sweetheart,” and it was every bit as magical as you’d imagine. From the first song to the final dance, the room was filled with laughter, excitement, and moments students and their families will cherish for years to come.

As the Winter Olympic Games get into full swing in Italy, BCC's very own BIP athletes are preparing for their own Olympic competition taking place at the Special Olympic USA Games this summer. Hear from their coach and team captain as they get set to go for the gold on the basketball court. We are incredibly proud of these athletes and can't wait to cheer them on!

Brunswick County Special Olympics basketball team prepares for USA Games The team will compete in 5-on-5 basketball games at the tournament, which begins in June in Minnesota.
