Two more images of the bald eagles at Seabeck in June. I liked these for the angles and motion of the first bird as it wheeled in the air to turn and dive on its prey, and for the reflection in the 2nd image that makes you look more closely to examine what you are seeing.

Milky Way nightscapes are the most technically challenging photo projects I have done, from the planning to the editing, but I sure do enjoy them. I shot the foreground during blue hour, and then used a Benro Polaris to shoot 10 tracked sky images with 2.5 minute exposures on my Nikon Z8 and 24-70mm lens. I blended them and edited in Photoshop.

Solitude - This was my view as I sat on a cliff above Palouse Falls composing and shooting my most complex photographic project so far. Here is my first edit. Shot with my and 20mm lens, and edited in . Thanks to for the courses that helped me learn how to use my and plan/shoot/edit my images.
