I want to be clear that working in the trades is not easy. To some extent, that’s why the work is so valuable - when a pipe bursts in your living room, you can ask AI what to do, but the answer will be to call an actual person to fix it (+ probably turn off the water in the meantime). Personally, when that person has shown up and either fixed the problem or been honest about why the fix isn’t simple, they become the resource that I look to going forward. People value getting their time back and feeling safe in their homes.
