My father wasn’t one to “humble” himself in the face of adversity and disrespect. From what I’ve learned, he was one that would do the very opposite. He asserted himself with conviction and spoke out unapologetically. And his own country, this led to several encounters with law enforcement, several of which escalated into incidences of police brutality. Legalization of weed/ganja/trees, whatever you may call it, didn’t happen by chance. We are where we are today, because of the sacrifices of those that came before us.
