Praxis Precision Medicines has announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has accepted for priority review its New Drug Application for relutrigine for the treatment of SCN2A and SCN8A developmental and epileptic encephalopathies (DEEs), with a PDUFA target action date of September 27, 2026.

We are encouraged by this important milestone as we continue our work to advance a potential new treatment option for patients and families affected by these severe genetic epilepsies.
