This group from Mayfair Laboratory School, Baton Rouge, LA, experienced an unforgettable Spring Break filled with adventure, discovery, and meaningful local connections.

They explored Rincón de la Vieja National Park and had some pretty incredible wildlife sightings—including a rare tapir, spider monkeys, white-nosed coatis, and even a silky anteater (an extremely rare find!).

The adventure continued with horseback riding, whitewater tubing, and zip lining through the rainforest and canyons—plus time to unwind in natural volcanic hot springs.

Along the way, students also visited a local primary school, meeting peers and teachers while gaining insight into Costa Rica’s education system and building real cultural connections beyond the classroom.

A spring break well spent!
