Not On My Watch

Please listen to me, and listen REAL good. Monday-Friday, I enter peoples homes in order to keep their basements safe and dry. And I share with y’all the things that highly motivate and inspire me. Well, I spoke to this home owner for approximately one hour about youth and education. He said, My and my wife personally believe that education starts in the home first. That’s how me and my wife were raised. My and my wife constantly joke about how our we remember our childhood schools being in our basements. He said that his children cannot tell me when there was never a chalk board in the basement and maps on the walls. How can we start providing this type of education for our babies born in poverty? Can you see it? Does this basement resemble the one you grew up in? Did you even have a basement? Don’t OUR children deserve a HEAD START also? ”WE BETTER WAKE UP!” Thank you for your time and patience.
