What's The Big Deal???
With the pace at which we live, we have depended more and more on industry to supply what we use in the home and on our bodies. So, what's the big deal?
In an attempt to make more profit and create a longer shelf life for products, natural ingredients have been replaced with chemicals and man made ingredients. A few here and there may have no effect on our health but, as the synthetics pile up, our bodies start to react in a negative way.
Skin conditions are a way that our body tells us there's something wrong. We call them sensitivities and, at their worst, allergic reactions and often people don't know the cause.
So, the pendulum has swung toward all natural products.
One of the first things I would recommend for people with skin issues is to change to an all natural soap but, here's the issue, how do you know what you're getting? There are sellers who use a product called melt and pour that is pre-made soap that they purchase, melt down, add scent, color and botanicals and sell as home-made. If you've bought home-made soap in the past and had issues with it, this may be the cause.
I guarantee that all my soaps are made from scratch with all fresh, natural ingredients.
Below, you will find a list of ingredients used in a popular soap and a picture with the ingredients used in one of my soap bars.
