The Dark Side of the Moon. 🌖

And the Glorious Beauty that is Earth. 🌍

On Monday I was caught dead in my tracks walking into the living room just gazing at the beauty of this Universe.

It takes humanity a few years to constantly remind ourselves how special we are and just how vast and almost empty the great Unknown is.

And it brings a lot of things into perspective.

Like how we are constantly hurrying forward to the next big thing… while forgetting to smell the roses, or hurrying up technology at the expense of nature and conservation.

There is a world where that dichotomy can exist. We just have to remind ourselves of that. And sometimes it does take $90 billion dollars (and counting) inclusive of US tax payer money to remind us.

But we have to look up and be aware. Take those moments and appreciate what we have. In contrast to the Moon, Earth is a Gem.

Would I say that I am proud to be contributing to a nearly $100 billion dollar exploration endeavor?

I am certainly curious. And it rejuvenates my commitment to take care of this planet in the ways I can, supporting projects that are creating pathways for sustainability so we do not end up a red planet like Mars.

I am definitely curious about space, to learn the past failures of the planets that did not survive so we do not make the same mistakes.

What a way to bring it all in to perspective. Thank you NASA.

A reminder that you should never stop refining your craft. The moment you become successful you will get a view from the top that is a thousand times better than this, hand to heart.
