One of the best things about hosting an Open House is seeing what happens when families, community partners, and local organizations come together in the same space.
At our recent Haverhill Open House, we welcomed prospective families, current families, and community partners throughout the evening. It was wonderful to see so many conversations taking place and to watch our team share the work they do every day.

We were especially excited to connect with representatives from Haverhill Promise and members of one of Haverhill's oldest churches, both of whom are doing meaningful work to support local families. Those conversations opened the door to future opportunities to connect with even more families in the community, and we're looking forward to continuing those relationships.

We were also honored to welcome the Mayor of Haverhill for a visit and a tour of the center.

Most importantly, families consistently shared how welcoming, knowledgeable, and passionate our team was. Those comments meant a lot because they reflect exactly what we hope families experience when they walk through our doors.

The evening was filled with connection, conversation, and community—and we're grateful to everyone who helped make it possible.

The Fourth of July can bring excitement, celebration, and family traditions—but it can also bring loud noises, crowded spaces, and changes in routine.

As you prepare for the holiday, consider talking through the day's plans ahead of time, bringing comfort items or headphones if needed, and identifying a quiet space where your child can take a break and recharge.

Most importantly, remember that there is no right or wrong way to celebrate. Whether your family enjoys fireworks, a backyard barbecue, or a quieter day at home, the best holiday plans are the ones that work for your child and your family.

Sometimes community looks like resource sharing and meaningful conversations. Sometimes it looks like glow sticks, dancing, and a room full of kids celebrating a year of hard work.

This month, our team joined Worcester SEPAC for their End of School Year Glow Party, where families, community partners, and local organizations came together to connect before the celebration began.

Then the lights went down, the glow sticks came out, and the dance party officially started.

There was something special about watching children celebrate alongside their families and peers. After a school year filled with learning, growth, and hard-earned milestones, it was wonderful to see families come together to celebrate, connect, and simply enjoy time with one another.
