A quick notification to all our users. We attempted to send an email to everyone who had historically purchased a Calibre device describing how to transition from our legacy app to the brand new app we recently released. We have heard from many that they didn't see the email arrive, so wanting to share publicly the "transition" plan we put together on how to move from the legacy app to the new app. We highly suggest you all do this as quickly as possible to ensure a seamless transition:

Sean Coakley here.....I've had the privilege of working with Calibre Biometrics for several years, from its early beginnings when the team was just a handful of individuals. Coming from a background in health, sports, and technology, a major gap was noticed in respiratory performance coaching tools. Traditional equipment was bulky, expensive, and confined to labs, lacking a portable and user-friendly solution.

Joining Calibre Biometrics became a personal mission to help revolutionize the field, catering to coaches, researchers, academics, biohackers, athletes, and longevity experts. Our goal was to make respiratory and metabolic biometrics accessible with a user-friendly approach and an affordable price point, democratizing CPET and metabolic cart data.

With years of dedicated work and feedback from thousands of users, we've shaped our roadmap and product development. Our latest achievement is the unveiling of our new app, meticulously crafted from the ground up. This platform, designed in response to user input, offers a seamless and enhanced experience for interacting with our device and extracting insights efficiently.

By leveraging breath calorimetry's gold standard science and a unique device design, we empower users to access performance and physiological metrics previously confined to labs or estimated by algorithms. Each breath becomes a valuable data point, revealing intricate details about fuel utilization, such as fats and carbs, with exceptional accuracy.

Being part of this groundbreaking technology is truly exhilarating. Our team extends profound gratitude to early adopters whose input has refined our vision and sharpened our focus. Together, we aim to build a platform and database that unlocks profound insights from the fundamental yet often overlooked information encapsulated in every breath we take.

METRICS! We receive questions every day from people asking us what kind of metrics we are able to capture. We've read comments of people stating they know we don't have an O2 sensor or a CO2 sensor.. So here to set the record straight and share some of the metrics that we captured with our device.

First and quickly, we most certainly do have an O2 sensor and a CO2 sensor and many others built into the device . We have worked with one of the premier sensor manufacturing companies in the world and utilize smaller faster, lighter sensors than have ever been available before inside of a metabolic cart/device.

As you could see from the list in the second carousel slide, we capture a tremendous amount of data and we do so very accurately.

For professionals in the space, it's sometimes hard to believe that in such a small, lightweight and simple to use device we can capture so much and maintain our accuracy. Although the general science behind capturing and calculating these metrics haven't changed in years technology has caught up if you think through the lense of Moore's Law", technology is simply faster, better and less expensive than it used to be.

Our approach is different and it is unique, and in order to get where we are, we had to think outside the box and let go of any preconceived notions from the historical and previous designs in the industry .

We we're thrilled to be able to create a device that is economical enough and simple to use for consumers yet at the same time accurate and capable enough to please the highest level professionals.

For all those who have purchased a Calibre device already we thank you, and
for all those who have not yet discovered Calibre we hope the information shared here will help you gain confidence in joining our community and buying a device.
