Last week, the class of 2026 gathered as a full group on Zoom for their fall intensive. Over the course of two days, they learned about JEDI, did some goal journaling, heard from program alums, workshopped their problem statements, and so much more. Now they are energized, ready to power through the second half of the semester.

We are so excited for this group as they are just starting out on their doctorate journey, and we can't wait to see where the next two years takes them!

Today marks the start of the Fall 2 semester! First year students begin Clinical Research Methods, where they will learn qualitative and quantitative research methods applicable to the health professions, and think critically about the ways in which theories and models are used to guide evaluation, intervention, research design, and professional practice.

Second year students begin Quality Improvement and Program Evaluation, where they will take on a quality improvement project using real-world data and be prepared to implement a quality improvement or program evaluation initative in their own practice setting.

All students continue their Capstone Project work - first-year students will present their problem statements and write their literature synthesis in Develop, and second-year students will create their dissemination plans and will begin to develop their manuscript or written summary including their analysis plan in Advance.

Good luck to everyone!
