Recruiting for Summer 2023!

Children entering second grade in the Fall of 2023

Families with children with or without behavioral, emotional, and/or learning challenges (e.g., ADHD), and without autism spectrum disorder or intellectual/developmental disabilities.

Includes breakfast, lunch, snacks, and camp gear.

Includes transportation from designated pick-up/drop-off sites in several area communities.

Choice of gift cards for parents and teachers for completing questionnaires and an evaluation before camp begins and at the end of camp.

Focusing on positive reinforcement for in- and out-of-school behavior.

Social-emotional training to help maintain emotional control and foster healthy social interaction.

Strengthen and promote parent-child bonds.

Academic enrichment and prevention of summer learning loss.

The day camp is part of a new program being conducted by Camp Shriver, and will run from Monday, July 3, 2023, to Friday, July 28, 2023, operating Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM - 2:00 PM on the UMass Amherst Mount Ida Campus in Newton MA.
