Feeling frustrated about the sheer amount of “STUFF” your children have?

𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗦 are not always valued either. They are left out, trampled on, pieces lost… sigh.

At times, parents have negative feelings about working hard to provide their children with so much, yet having to throw away another broken, neglected, unappreciated toy.

𝗛𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲? 𝗬𝗼𝘂’𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗲 – 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲!

Rather than giving a toy or a trinket, more and more people strive to make memories together.

Here are a few ideas to get you started:

🎨Learn something new!
Consider giving or taking lessons together. Whether it’s art, dance, painting, or martial arts, learning something new is a great way to make memories.

🃏Have a family game night.
This one might be better suited for school-age children, but even preschoolers enjoy playing games like Candyland, Connect Four, and Hungry Hippos. Most of all, kids love the dedicated time and attention from the adults they love.

👍Introduce a Yes Day.
Plan a fun day where have to say YES to just about anything they want to do, within reason. Some ground rules: nothing dangerous, there is a budget, and you will not “say yes” to screen time.

🔭Take a trip to a children’s museum.
These places are full of hands-on science, art, and cultural experiences designed specifically for children.

🤸‍♂️Get active together!
Physical activities include a trip to a cool park, family bike rides, and neighborhood walks. You could even create your own family fun relay races and silly games for younger children.
