continues! This week we spotlight another Guild Community Love and Gratitude Awards recipient:
Today we want to spotlight YVONNE P! 🥳😍🥰
Cheerful, full of energy, loving, and compassionate. Yvonne radiates love and joy from every cell in her body. Even at the height of the pandemic with fears around embracing others, Yvonne created the “elbow bump and toe taps” as a means of adding connection and playfulness into our daily routine. Every week for over two years, Yvonne religiously delivered to our elders and quarantined families experiencing severe food insecurity. She delivered thousands of care packages to the most vulnerable members of our community with a beautiful smile; her smile beams from behind her mask. "Above and beyond" are the words to describe Yvonne’s work at The Guild. It didn’t matter if it was packing bags of essential supplies, delivering care packages across the city of Boston, registering pantry families, or packing up areas of the building for renovations, Yvonne was there! Any void she could fill, she did it without hesitation and with a generous heart. Thank you for the gift of your presence! We LOVE and ADORE you!

Hosting the Ward 14 Democratic Caucus was a great opportunity for our state and city representatives to see and hear about the work of The Guild. Looking forward to building with our elected officials!
