2025 ✨ This year…

I made it to Thailand, where I volunteered at a local school and got scuba certified. 🐠🤿 Visiting Asia checked off my 4th continent!

I traveled to San Juan, Puerto Rico, volunteering at an animal shelter that opened my eyes to the harsh realities of animal rescue. I brought home a puppy, Milo, whose life was heartbreakingly short due to how sick from the conditions he was living in. Loving & losing him deepened my commitment to helping stray and rescue animals wherever I go. 🐾

I visited Aruba, one of the most beautiful islands I’ve ever seen, and I got bit by a flamingo 🦩 (adding to my ongoing list of wildlife injuries: pelican, seagull, reindeer, jellyfish… apparently I’m collecting those too 🤷‍♀️).

I finally made it to Joshua Tree National Park, a place that’s been on my list for years. I loved the quiet desert vibes. 🌵

I returned to some familiar favorites — Disneyland in CA (for the 3rd time) and Orlando, FL waaay too many times. Definitely made full use of my Disney World annual pass.🎢 I also checked out Universal’s new park, Epic Universe which is sooo wow! 🤩

And my biggest travel goal of all: I visited my 49th & 50th states — Alaska and Hawaii!!
In Hawaii, I felt completely at home in the ocean, with some of the most beautiful snorkeling experiences I’ve ever had. Hawaii definitely is top of the list as my FAVORITE state!
In Alaska, I enjoy the cutest towns, flew in a helicopter, and walked on a glacier. ❄️🚁

This year was full of highs and lows. Goals achieved and bucket list items checked off. But still, there is so much more to see.

Looking ahead to 2026, I hope to:
• Visit my 5th continent… South America
• Make progress toward my next travel goal of visiting all 7 Wonders of the World
• Volunteer in a new destination and continue incorporating service into all my travels

Here’s to traveling with purpose and curiosity. 🤍 Thank you for being here for the journey. I’m just getting started. 🌍

📍 Skagway up into the beautiful Yukon on the White Pass Railway

The most beautiful views at every turn!! Glaciers, mountains, and rivers that look straight out of a postcard. 🏔️✨ History, thrill, and nature all in one ride!

📍🇺🇸 Ketchikan, Alaska
Our Alaskan adventure began in Ketchikan, known as the “Salmon Capital of the World” and it was everything I imagined Alaska would be, just much warmer than I expected! ☀️

We kicked things off with a fun and scenic Duck Tour, where we spotted seals and bald eagles (!!!) while cruising through the harbor. 🦅 Then we walked the town to check out the Salmon Ladder and Creek Street, lined with colorful, historic buildings, locally owned shops, and Dolly’s House, a unique historic icon from Ketchikan’s former red-light district during the Prohibition era, now preserved as a small museum that offers a glimpse into the town’s colorful past.

We had lunch at Alaska Crepe Co. which was sooo good! They have both sweet + savory options, and I highly recommend visiting!!

Ketchikan gave us the best first taste of Alaska. 🐟🏔
