Weddings and Memorials for people not connected to religious community. Helping you Share your Story

A *great* way to talk about a challenging topic! Very helpful for people approaching or already supported by hospice. Helpful for anyone thinking about end-of-life questions. I hope to join my friend Aimee Yawnick, this Thursday in Pembroke. 12/11/2023

“Jonathan, I just wanted you to know what a wonderful job you did at A’s service. It is crystal clear God provided you with the compassion and skill set to provide guidance and comfort to the families, friends and loved ones of those struggling with so many different emotions and trying to navigate what that all means. You letting everyone know it was ok to experience the tears, laughter, highs and lows of losing a loved one allowed everyone to realize it is ok to not only show those emotions but share them with others. Thank you!” – Randy C., Walpole, MA 12/05/2023

Officiated a beautiful memorial service this morning in Walpole. The decedent and his family worked with my friend Aimee Yawnick (End-of-Life Coach and Doula). He and his family looked his death square in the eye and leaned in together, with open hearts and minds, celebrating him in the ways he wanted to be celebrated: funny voicemails, tender eulogies, a live singing of "Let It Be," bagpipes, the 23rd Psalm, some artfully-chosen curse words, lots of tears and laughs.

Delaney Funeral Home in Walpole did a great job, and United Church in Walpole generously provided space in their newly renovated sanctuary. This space is available for memorials for people in the community who want to use it - you don't have to be a member or connected to the church!

I'm proud to share this good work with so many good people. 12/02/2023
