Week of Service 🤗

This week we are highlighting our community service initiatives for our week of service!

➡️First we have Hale House, where students volunteer at a residential care facility for seniors that provides support to a diverse older population in need.
➡️Second we have Smile, Share, Care where students educate preschoolers and elementary students at the Wang YMCA every week about the importance of good oral hygiene.
➡️Third we have Cards for a Cause, where students work with Community Servings, a not-for-profit nutrition program and meal service, to make handmade cards that go along with the meals delivered.
➡️Fourth, we have the Global Committee, which are currently planning the Lebanon Project. The Global Committee hopes to plan annual global service trips to Lebanon with the goal to create a nationwide oral health prevention program in Lebanon through collaboration between the Ministry of Public Health, the Ministry of Public Education, and through a network of local and foreign dental schools.
➡️And last we have NECHV (New England Center and Home for Veterans Committee) where volunteers gather monthly to help service dinners to veterans.

Tufts ASDA would like to cordially invite all dental students and pre-dental students to the P.A.R.T.Y. Conference! (Promoting Advocacy Responsibly to You). This conference will have speakers involved in many levels of advocacy and students who are engaged to promote advocacy to our patients, community, and to dental students.

Location: Tufts University School of Dental Medicine- 7th floor
When: February 15th from 9:30am-3pm

A light breakfast and lunch will be served.
The first 50 students who RSVP will have an extra ticket to be entered into raffle to win prizes, including an electronic toothbrush!
