Nancy Daniels was an African-born Barbadian who is notable for her remarkable life story and longevity. She is believed to have been born between 1751 and 1755 in West Africa, likely of Igbo descent.

Nancy Daniels survived the Middle Passage and arrived in Barbados around 1780.She was initially enslaved by M D'Azevedo, later came under the care of the Daniels family after his death.

After gaining her freedom, Nancy continued to work for the Daniels family as a housekeeper.She is said to have lived to the age of 120, though her death record indicates she was 116 years old at the time of her passing on September 24, 1871.
