Firefly Watch Citizen Science Project Firefly Watch combines an annual summer evening ritual with scientific research. Join a network of volunteers by observing your own backyard, and help scientists map fireflies found in New England and beyond.

Check out Fellow Amanda Tokash-Peters’ research journey through Rwanda over the next three weeks. She is studying mosquito microbiomes and is collaborating with the University of Rwanda for her field sampling.
