Came upon the “Tolkien Door,” the medieval north door of St. Edward’s Church in Stow-on-the-Wold, Gloucestershire (in the Cotswolds). Widely believed to have inspired the Doors of Durin (the West Gate of Moria in The Lord of the Rings), it features an ancient wooden portal framed by two towering, 700-year-old yew trees.
