We're so excited to announce that the Boston Tree Party Handbook is done!
It contains a wealth of information about planting and caring for heirloom apple trees; ideas and suggestions for community activities, discussions, and events; and lots of educational articles. There's something for everyone interested in apple trees and community events!
Please enjoy this resource, and feel free to share widely: http://www.bostontreeparty.org/resources/boston-tree-party-handbook/

The Boston Tree Party » Boston Urban Forest Council: Invasives and Grants! Unfortunately, despite efforts at many levels, the Emerald Ash Borer was found in Massachusetts for the first time this month. This tiny invasive beetle, which was accidentally introduced to the US from Asia sometime in the 1990s, was found in Berkshire County in early September.
We need your help please! We’re looking for a (free) venue for our Fall Delegation Event! We need a space that can hold about 75 people with a projector and room for some tables so all our Delegates can meet each other in person and share ideas/experiences. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know at [email protected]. Thanks so much!
