Community Preservation Coalition

The city council in Westfield recently approved four projects totaling over $1M in funding, including $400k to convert their Old Town Hall building into 18 units of affordable housing designated for local veterans. Now that the project has secured this local CPA funding towards the $9M total cost, construction is slated for later this month.

Last month the Town of Bridgewater, MA held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the permanent protection of Hanson Farm, and funding helped make this project a success.

Stuart Saginor, Director of the Coalition, was invited to be one of the guest speakers for the event alongside Gina Guasconi & Carlton Hunt, the Chair and Vice-Chair of the Bridgewater Community Preservation Committee.
