Meet our second 2025 Finalist Benjamin Barson! Dr. Barson is a historian, baritone saxophonist, and political activist. He is an assistant professor of music at Bucknell University. His work has been published in 'Black Power Afterlives: The Enduring Significance of the Black Panther Party', 'Routledge Handbook on Jazz and Gender' and 'Routledge Guide to Ecosocialism'. Come to our award event on October 9th to learn even more about Ben and his $10,000 winning book.
