I am beyond honored to help launch the Phyllis Goodwin Empowerment Center at the Quincy YMCA.

Our children are navigating a world that is louder and more complex than ever. From the pressures of social media to the uncertainties of the world around us, the internal compass of our youth needs more support than ever before.

Seeing these girls practice walking tall and supporting one another in the beautiful new space reminds me why this work is so vital.

Confidence isn’t built overnight. It’s built in safe spaces like this, through practice, encouragement, and a lot of heart. ❤️

Great things happen when women support each other, and this collaboration is proof.

I am so incredibly proud to stand alongside these powerhouse women to help launch the new Phyllis Goodwin Empowerment Center at the Hale Family YMCA. In a true reflection of Phyllis’s legacy, we are introducing a transformative 8-week program for girls, beginning Tuesday, April 7th, right here in Quincy.

It is an honor to work side-by-side with: (from left to right) Katelyn Szafir, Vice President of Operations, Hale Family YMCA, Jennifer Christenson, Development Director, South Shore YMCA, and Lauren Dell’Olio, Vice President of Marketing, South Shore YMCA.

This isn’t just a physical space; it’s a foundation for confidence, wellness, and self-determination. Over the next eight weeks, participants will engage in our Fearless Focus signature classes, alongside crucial discussions from YMCA instructors and volunteers on good health and nutrition, the practice of yoga, the joy of music and the arts and more.

We are paving the way for our girls to thrive, and I can’t wait to see this amazing new empowerment space come alive. Swipe through to see more pictures and videos of the center!

I’ve seen it happen time and time again: when a child stops wondering if they’re “enough” and starts knowing they belong, everything changes.

In exactly one week, Fearless Focus officially pivots to the Pembroke Community Center. I am so excited to bring our mission to “their turf” and reach even more girls and boys (ages 9–10 and 11–13).

The upcoming five-week program features the signature classes that have been so successful for Fearless Focus students:

The Role of Posture and Presence

Social Superpowers: How to Build Strong Friendships and Speak Up

Voice Projection and Presence

Master Your Mindset, Master Your Life

Ready, Set, Etiquette. Each class offers specific activities that are both meaningful and fun!

We’re making social growth meaningful, fun, and age-appropriate.

One week left until we begin on March 30th! Tap the link in my bio to join us.

Building self-awareness and self-love in young children is more than just a nice idea. It is a necessary foundation that helps them navigate the present and prepares them for the future as school and friendships become more challenging.

While parents are always the greatest influencers and role models, providing children with a little extra support at this age can be incredibly helpful. When children are young, they are naturally fearless. Our goal is to protect and continue that spirit by helping them practice the skills they need to thrive.

We want to give them the space to practice speaking up and the confidence to know exactly why they love themselves. By helping them identify what they love to do and what they are good at, we give them the tools to take ownership of their own identity. It is a wonderful privilege to watch them find their voices and truly begin to soar.

Our next program for boys and girls starts March 30th at the Pembroke Community Center! We have a few spots left in each class. Visit link in bio to register.
