Moments like this. This is what it’s all about. My niece Shea and I taking a spin around that magical makeshift dance floor that is my sister Nancy’s kitchen. It was my mother’s 90th birthday celebration and just the day before we’d gathered to lay our dear Uncle John to rest. I’m taking this joyous moment with me to my rest as well. First day home in LA after months of much needed family time in Boston. What a trip. I’ll be back Shea. We will swing from the chandelier again. ☘️☮️♥️🎶

Spring has some what reluctantly sprung in New England and yes I’m still here with my favorite babies that are not my own babies. It’s been a blessing to be here to give my time, energy, and care to these two beautiful children and support their parents, my beautiful sister and brother in law, as they navigate Johnny’s journey and keep things fun and loving for he and Shea with play and learning and sooooo many cupcakes! Family is everything and effort and understanding and empathy are the recipe for happiness and success. Sending love from my family to yours and wishing you strength throughout your struggles be they great or small. ☮️♥️🍀
