Partner Jane Colston gave remarks at the Luxury Law Summit at the British Museum yesterday. Colston, who served as an editor and contributor with partner Jessica Lee for the Cryptoassets Law Over Borders Comparative Guide, answered questions about the book and its importance for the industry as part of a hardcopy launch.

"In a new asset class, you need trust," Colston said. "And where do you get trust? The law."

We hosted our summer associate welcome reception in our newly renovated New York office last week. It was a great opportunity for everyone to meet, enjoy food and start building connections.

Thank you to the members of our D.C. office who participated in American Heart Association’s Lawyers Have Heart 5K Road Race at West Potomac Park this Saturday. The event aims to raise funds to continue supporting research and community initiatives around heart health. We have participated in this race for several years in Boston and were excited to bring this event to D.C. this year.

CEO Vince Guglielmotti and first-year associates Nina Franco and Nicole Park celebrated Caroline Henschel (second from left) passing the bar exam last month in Washington, D.C. Henschel is a law clerk in the Firm’s White Collar Defense, Investigations & Compliance group. She was also a legal intern with the Firm.

We celebrated our new lounge and event space during a reception earlier this month.

The space features open seating with a variety of options, a yoga studio, Peloton bikes and sparkling and still water on tap.

Attendees were able to bring their spouse or significant other, catch up with colleagues, and take a tour of the new and improved space.
