YU Ambassadors is an ensemble of performers age 19-25 that is focused on creating and performing original theater that investigates social issues relevant to young people and our world. Our original piece Act Up & Vote is going on tour starting this October through June 2020. We tour predominantly in the Greater Boston area, but we are definitely hoping to expand our reach.
Ensemble members are paid a stipend for rehearsals and every performance. YU Ambassadors is a great opportunity for early-career performers to receive professional mentorship as well as touring, devising, and performance experience. This year we are looking for people who are eager to activate and educate young voters around civic duty.
Rehearsals will be nights and weekends from September 30-October 21 and Mondays 6:30-9:30 subsequently. I've attached our audition flyer below which outlines the rest of the details.
To book an audition students can email
[email protected]. Please note, while the flyer says the audition date was Sept. 16th, they are adding a second audition date!
