SLIPPAGE By: Bob Brennan
Slippage by Bob Brennan follows the story of Henry Carter, a recently institutionalized professional painter who has been framed for the murder of one of his clients. He lives under the watchful eye of the psychiatric doctor Trevor Branford, who is no stranger to his own controversies from his outdated treatments and methods. It is only Henry’s wife and artistic muse, Rebecca, who remains loyal and hopeful that he will snap back into the person he once was, but she too is growing increasingly distant thanks to his direct cruelty and dogmatic outbursts regarding life and art. A play that features a trio of actors who explore the whiplash of anxiety, struggles with authenticity, the powers of beauty, frailty, and abuse, as well as searching for one’s “true” self.

THE BOY AND THE EAR By: Mitchell Gavin
Henry is a teenage runaway in 1950’s Arkansas living in the woods when he comes across a severed ear. Curious, as all young boys are, he keeps it and begins to speak to the ear, even calling it “Rae” when one day it talks back. Before he knows it, the ear begins to grow. Follow our daring protagonist as he joins a circus to show off his newfound friend as they fully grow into a person live on stage!

13 NIGHTS SOMEWHERE NORTH OF LAKE MICHIGAN
By: Loey Jones-Perpich
Somewhere in the backwoods of northern Michigan, five teenagers come together for their final session at their childhood summer camp. It’s the summer of 1997, and over the last year, their former cabin mate, Louise, has died and been replaced in the cabin by Beth, the sheltered, religious new girl. The other four campers - Allison, Erin, Jamie, and Casey - must navigate their grief alone. The teenagers spend 13 nights alone in the woods together, struggling to come to terms with q***rness, family history, old friendships, and a summer of endings. Based on true events that took place over a number of years, 13 Nights in the Woods Somewhere North of Lake Michigan is a reflection on grasping at youth, but still growing up too fast.

ICE CREAM By: Spencer Daniel
James, an art student with an aversion to athletics, is hired as a part-time ice cream manufacturer at Greenwood Farms for the summer. After meeting his jaded, conspiracy-theorizing boss, Matt, what James believed to be a wholesome, family-owned enterprise turns out to be the most hostile workplace of his professional career. In an environment that establishes the use of slurs, discriminatory and sexual language as commonplace, James is confronted with another part of himself -- the code-switching, shame, and isolation ingrained in his manhood. James's otherness is apparent, drawing the attention of Matt, whose monotonous 9-to-5 appears to be rotting him from the inside. As James becomes more comfortable, Matt becomes more curious, pursuing James in a cycle of predation that seems all too common among the management at Greenwood. A criticism of heteronormative masculinity, Ice Cream also examines the intricate and turbulent nature of work relationships, ambition, and self-suppression, specifically in relation to q***r men.
