Job Description
Disability & Access Services (DAS) at Boston University is seeking highly skilled American Sign Language (ASL)/English Interpreters to join our team. Staff Interpreters will report to the Coordinator of Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services. Staff Interpreters will provide ASL/English Interpreting and/or translation services primarily administrative professionals and purposes. Secondary responsibilities will include but are not limited to on-call university events, department meetings, and academic content. This is a full-time 12-month position.

Required Skills
ASL/ English fluency (i.e., manual, and written communication)
AA degree + 5 years interpreting in post-secondary settings, or BA degree + 3 years in post-secondary settings
Massachusetts State Screening/QA or National Certification
Minimum 3 years administrative ASL/English Interpreting experience
