We've rebranded! But still the same awesome flock of humans doing incredible work. What do we do over here you ask?
š” Network Security Assessments/ Pen Testing
š” Physical Security Testing / Onsite Engagements
š” Cyber Awareness Training for Companies and now the public.
What actually is Pen Testing?
Pe*******on testing, or pen testing, is a crucial digital security practice involving simulated attacks on a computer system or network to identify potential vulnerabilities before a malicious actor can exploit them. By acting like a hacker, pen testers help organizations discover security flaws and address them proactively, enhancing the overall security posture.
Key Aspects of Pen Testing:
Simulated Attack: Pen testers mimic the actions of real attackers to attempt unauthorized access to systems or data, revealing potential vulnerabilities.
Identifying Weaknesses: The primary goal is to uncover security flaws, such as weak passwords, misconfigurations, outdated software, and exploitable code.
Risk Assessment: Pen testing provides valuable insights into the potential impact of cyberattacks, helping organizations prioritize remediation efforts.
Ethical Hacking: These tests are conducted with permission and within defined parameters, making them a legal and ethical way to evaluate system security.
Why is Pen Testing Important?
Proactive Defense: Identifying and fixing vulnerabilities before a real attack occurs allows companies to strengthen their defenses and reduce the risk of breaches.
Compliance Requirements: Many industries require regular pe*******on testing to meet regulatory standards and ensure ongoing security.
Data Protection: Pen testing helps safeguard sensitive information by identifying and mitigating weak points in data protection measures.
Informed Decision-Making: The insights gained from pen tests can guide security strategies and optimize resource allocation for better protection.
In summary, pen testing is an essential practice that enables organizations to understand their security risks, prioritize necessary improvements, and proactively defend against potential threats.

Itās a wild world we live inā¦.
Trying to figure out where to start on your network security journey? With AI joining the world of cybercrime, all bets are off.
Pen testing is crucial to find the vulnerabilities in your network before the bad guys do.
Pe*******on testing, or pen testing, is a simulated attack on a system to evaluate its security. It's important because it can help organizations:
Identify vulnerabilities
Pen testing can help find weaknesses in systems, applications, and networks that attackers could exploit.
Stop attacks
By identifying vulnerabilities before they can be exploited, pen testing can help prevent attacks.
Comply with regulations
Pen testing can help organizations comply with data privacy and security regulations.
Improve security posture
Pen testing can help organizations build confidence in their security posture and highlight strengths.
Improve security awareness
Pen testing can help improve staff awareness of security protocols.
Evaluate incident response plans
Pen testing can help evaluate incident response plans.
Preserve brand reputation
Pen testing can help businesses show customers that their information is secure.
Understand cyber defense capability
Pen testing can help organizations see how their IT team reacts to an attack.
ANDā¦.. Did you know cyber insurance companies require regular pe*******on testing (pen testing) as a condition of coverage.
This not only reduces risk by identifying and fixing vulnerabilities but also helps in lowering premiums.

Here at intelaccess we believe cybersecurity is a pillar of patient care. Testing your systems for weaknesses and vulnerabilities regularly is of the utmost importance while navigating the new world of cybercrime.
The ascension cyber attack was initiated by Black Basta, first identified in April 2022, has attacked a wide range of organizations across North America, Europe and Australia, according to CISAās notice.
The ransomware gang typically uses common techniques to gain initial access to its victimās systems, such as phishing or exploiting known software vulnerabilities. From there, Black Basta uses a double-extortion approach, meaning it encrypts its victimās systems and exfiltrates the data.
Regular and Proactive testing your system for weaknesses and vulnerabilities is key- and so is cyber awareness education.
Proactive cybersecurity methods help strengthen your network, provide insight and understanding and most importantly, allow your providers to provide patient care without critical interruptions.
Cyberattack led to harrowing lapses at Ascension hospitals, clinicians say Problems caused by the attack included delayed or lost lab results, medication errors, and an absence of routine safety checks to prevent potentially fatal mistakes, doctors and nurses told reporters.
White House to Push Cybersecurity Standards on Hospitals The Biden administration intends to require hospitals to meet minimum cybersecurity standards after a single hack exposed the data of 100 million Americans.

Now is the time to look at your digital ecosystem as a whole. It is time to secure your entire infrastructure.
What does the Change Healthcare ransomware incident mean for healthcare organizations? Doubling your cybersecurity spending, according to one health system CIO.
Will Weider, CIO and senior vice president of Wausau, Wis.-based Aspirus Health, shared five thoughts on LinkedIn Feb. 29 about the incident, saying, "Whatever you planned to spend to improve cybersecurity, double it."
Additionally, Mr. Weider stated that in light of this incident, healthcare organizations should:
*Focus on the insecure present instead of talking about the future of AI.
Simplify the IT environment, as "every new snippet of software and every new network device is a new attack vector."
*Prepare for all of the responsibilities that come with a breach, including patient notifications.
*Add language to IT contracts to deal with partner failures. "Us CIOs need to stop rolling over and taking on all of the risk," he wrote.
